A busy month of tradeshows and customer meetings around the world
March was a very important month for our SASSO teams who were able to meet with customers and prospects in different strategic areas of the globe at various tradeshows.
The first event, and not the least, was VIV Asia, the largest "Feed to Food" tradeshow in Asia, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from March 8 to 10, 2023. All of Hendrix Genetics' activities were present on the group's multi-species stand for three intensive days of meetings and discussions. This was an opportunity for SASSO to further strengthen its reputation as a pillar of traditional poultry in this region with significant growth opportunities.
Our teams then flew to the African continent for some, and to another key country in Asia for others.
From March 15 to 17, the JNA exhibition was held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, bringing together many poultry industry professionals from different countries. The development of SASSO in sub-Saharan Africa is still in its start-up phase, and this show was extremely satisfying in terms of meetings and discussions with prospects from neighboring countries.
The demand for information on our colored chickens was very high, which is mostly related to the development and growing interest in this type of poultry products in the region.
We also had the opportunity to meet with the Minister of Agriculture of Ivory Coast, who visited us at the Hendrix Genetics booth to discuss several topics, including the reopening of exports from France to Ivory Coast, which have been closed since the avian flu began.
Another part of the SASSO team participated in the 12th edition of the International Poultry Show organized by WPSA in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from March 16 to 18.
It was an opportunity to meet customers and prospects and to present them our new products: SASSOLI Red and SASSO Blend. Meetings and discussions punctuated the three days of the exhibition, with many promising exchanges regarding the continuation of SASSO's business activities in Asia.
SASSO's participation in these different events was a great success, and we are already looking forward to meeting you at the next events!
