SASSO participated in the Dubai Training School event
From July 1 to 3, SASSO had the pleasure of attending the Dubai Training School event, organized by the Laying Hens division of Hendrix Genetics. The aim of this event was to share poultry farming expertise and the latest findings to support the growth and success of poultry businesses. Participants from all over the world gathered in Dubai for three intense days of training, conferences and exchanges.
The conference was particularly interesting thanks to the presence of the nine sponsors: Ceva, Big Dutchman, MSD Animal Health, Petersime, VEIT Electronics, Eggbase, HATO, NOVA-TECH, and The Schippers Group. Their participation was highly rewarding, providing complementary expertise on the various topics and enriching the many technical discussions.
The event was marked by captivating presentations covering key topics for the poultry industry, such as:
- Latest R&D updates
- Vaccination
- Ventilation and housing in hot climates
- Impact of early nutrition on long-term performance
- Parent stock management
- ...and a lot of other very interesting topics.
These presentations offered attendees an in-depth look at industry innovations and best practices. In addition, small group workshops enabled more in-depth interaction with the various experts and sponsors, encouraging the sharing of technical and practical knowledge.
A worldwide participation
The event brought together over 180 participants (Hendrix Genetics employees, sponsors, current and potential customers) from nearly 25 different countries, and from different regions of the globe such as Africa (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman), Asia (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines) and Europe (France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands), to name just a few.
This geographical diversity greatly enriched the discussions and enabled a very interesting sharing of experience and knowledge.
A valuable event for SASSO
For the SASSO team, this event was also a unique opportunity to meet with customers and discuss technical topics about our colored chickens. It was also an opportunity to present our different products to customers from the Laying Hens activity, opening the door to new prospects in the key regions of the Middle East and Asia.
The many exchanges and activities organized over the three days not only strengthened relationships with customers, but also with Hendrix Genetics colleagues, fostering synergies and reinforcing team spirit.
